Understanding Manufacturers' scheduled servicing
When you service your car with Concorde Auto Centre, we follow the manufacturer service schedule, making sure all necessary parts are replaced - not just an oil change!
Servicing your vehicle according to the manufacturer’s specifications is essential. A simple oil and filter change will not be enough to keep your car running past the 100k mark.
At Concorde we carry out manufacturers’ scheduled servicing. This means our services are all carried out within the manufacturer’s warranties and guarantees using OE Parts fitted only by fully qualified technicians.

"Interim" or "full" services are just "one fits all" as opposed to exactly what your car needs for it's age and mileage.
So why Manufacturers scheduled servicing rather than these services of one size fits all at local garages?
A classic example is Brake Fluid!
Research conducted for Cosan Lubricants’ Comma brand, tested the quality of brake fluid at service garages across Europe and found that 26.5 per cent of UK motorists had defective brake fluid, with nearly one in 10 unintentionally risking their lives every time they drove. Overall across Europe, that figure rose to 41 per cent of vehicles operating with sub-standard brake fluid.
What about changing all of the filters that are recommended?
The air filter being clean clearly helps the engine breathe and perform more efficiently saving fuel and increasing performance.
Recent studies showed that many services (even at dealers) were skipping the fuel filter when due. For a small cost of the filter, blockage could mean expensive damage from fuel starvation to the fuel pump and injectors.
What about your car's cabin air filters?
Their job is to trap pollen and dust before it gets in your car.
Most vehicles do carry these and are replaced as part of the CORRECT manufacturers scheduled service that you only get with Concorde or the main dealer.
What about warranty and any recalls?
Don't be lied to! As Concorde follows manufacturers scheduled servicing and using original equipment quality parts, under EU block exemption rules your car can be serviced with Concorde rather than the main dealer at much less money but to the same standards and procedures ensuring that your warranty is not affected - and this is legal fact!
There is no truth in the statement "Only the dealer will tell you of any recall on your car if you service your car with them".
